On TMS they were saying this was the hottest day of the match and I think Trott's dismissal was in no small part due to fatigue. He was toweling down and taking a long drink with only 20min till tea and was out soon after. A typical fine gutsy innings from him though and it was Priors dismissal that set SL on the road to victory.
The key to a good chase is partnerships, but with guys getting our regularly at the other end, it makes the chase that much more difficult.

Are they now?
SHISH!!!!....I went to have my tea at 5 for 250........
It wasn't a huge dinner, just a plate of noodle/prawn/chicken/vegies an an hour later England are all in the sheds.......what the bloody hell happened.
P.s.....can I least hear how well Sri-Lanka played without you lads using the word..BUT....
Rabbitoh
Atleast give credit to English for making Herath well known to the cricketing world.

DSB, your ruining my conversation with rabbits on the other thread
If I was one of the England bowlers, I would talk to the batsmen....
That's very immature the sprinkler

I would go with 5 bowlers. Our only hope is to bowl them out for a ridiculously low score in both innings.
Patel ain't gonna score alot of runs and bringing Bopsra in isn't exactly the magic solution.
Get bairstow there! Time to blood a young batsman, Bopara isn't ever going to be international standard, neither is Patel. I would look somewhere between Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Taylor and Alex Hales. All very talented batsman who deserve their chance. I personally think Root is the best of the lot, but Bairstow has proven he has the attitude to take it on.

Our bowlers have been incredible, they did all you could ask of a 4 man attack. But, an extra bowler is exactly what we needed to come in and finish things off.
Like I said Patel isn't going to score runs, neither is Morgan or Bopara. I'm not saying this is the long term solution. As the fella above points out we shoukd look to blood new players, but not now in the middle of a series. They would be on a hiding to nothing.
Go with 5 bowlers and really maximise our advantage. Then pray that the batsmen sort it out
