I'd heard of him yes and I knew he was in the Dutch squad but I've seen very little of him so I wouldn't go around saying we should sign him on the basis of a newspaper article and a couple of videos on youtube.

So by that logic, any player who plays for a half decent or one of the top International sides would automatically qualify to be a good signing? I'm sorry but it's just not as simple as that.

And Van Bommel, De Jong, Heitenga all play for Holland, I wouldn't want any of those playing for us.

Why not? He just spend 16 onYoung, 18 on Jones, 18 on De Gea, Rio was 30, rooney was 30. If the player is the right age and fit for the club fergy will go with it.

And I've watched La Liga for a couple of seasons now, we'd do well to sign Martinez. Obviously the fact we played Bilbao got the media and fans talking, but it wouldn't be the first time Fergy has signed somebody having seen them play well against us.

Its fine not to have heard of somebody, just don't follow it with, I want us to sign him.
