The right man won end of story. The better wrestler won end of story.
Cena will still be the no.1 guy
I hope the rock actually returns to wwe though. none of this entering for trash talk crap, actual storylines involving him and other superstars
diggers, is WM28 available on piratebay?
Given that The Rock won, logic (I know it usually goes out of the window where the writers are concerned) would suggest that he should stick around for at least a few PPV's this year but this means that he needs a bigger fish to fry. As much as I doubt that Lesnar will return, he or perhaps Batista or even Goldberg are the only 'elite' stars that can shine a candle to just how big The Rock is. Another Cena match doesn't seem likely at all and would probably be a bad move anyway.
I just don't know what they'll do now to be honest. I'm hoping it's an interesting next few weeks.
all the promos just mould into one
And the heath slater segment was random
And how anyone can call another poster naive after claiming that Orton should have been main event.
Worst shout of all time.
If you were running things, Orton would be champ, Rock vs cena would be trilogy and all results would be worthless.
Read Hitmans and Jerichos autobiographies about the importance of putting someone over.
Naive ? Lol

hahahaha, wow, you just don't get it do you.
I'd have had Orton in the World Heavyweight Championship Match, you know, the match WWE used last night to squash Bryan ...... i'll take a random guess and say the match would've been better with his inclusion
If i was running WWE, i wouldn't need to ressurrect Rock in a cheap attempt to get ratings back to 3.0 lol ..... Cena would have a legacy that actually meant something to begin with, and WWE would be full of rich, dynamic characters that people cared about.
But back to the point, I'll tell you again, if you truly believe JOHN CENA (the guy with the scalps of HHH, HBK, Orton, Kane, Y2J, Edge, Batista, among SO many others) can't survive losing to probably one of the most entertaining performers in the businesses 50 year history? A man with most of those scalps to his name aswell. You really need your head checked mate.
I've not seen anyone so taken in by WWE's promotional machine as you are in a long time my friend. Bet you also believed HHH had a shot at ending the streak didn't you? I never said i wanted there to be a rematch (i avidally hope there isn't one), i'm saying it's inevitable. I know WWE. Their promotional direction and buzz phrases are weightless.
They're hardly scalps when you know you're going to win before it even starts

......
Oh he'll survive it
But again back to the industry ... In industry his terms, having the head chopped off your legacy is working your backside off only to put someone over who doesn't necessarily deserve it.
I guess we think differently but that's fine.
But as far as the orton shout goes.... No
I'd rather have an 18 second match as opposed to the cardboard one trick Orton any day.
Orton needs to come back to Raw, Smackdown is boring. Orton could have been up there with Cena and Punk but since he's gone to Smackdown he's gone lower on the radar.
Ok, sound like you just have an agenda against Orton, which case i won't go into that further.
That's just jobbing, and i still can't buy it ...... The Rock along with Stone Cold single handedly resurrected the WWE from a period of great despair in the mid/late 90s. They made wrestling fashionable beyond belief. Then upon their departures, the ratings and appeal from general society sung again. The Rock has made WWE billions just off of his talent. So tell me, why exactly does Rock deserve anything other than being pushed? Without saying anything about him being a part time wrestler, the only reason part timers get opportunities is the current roster can't get it done, so that argument's garbage.
Your phrasing made it sound like your took Cena's words incredibly literaily. For people who grew up in both generations, Cena was never going to be remembered as superior to The Rock regardless of the result to that match. And now he's lost, he'll still be remembered as the Hogan of his generation. So what's the problem?
Some good points.
I've enjoyed reading an alternative view of things.
Sick around the wrestling board and we'll talk further.
I'm off for a cuppa
Ever since he went Face he's become boring, his moves have become repetitive and he can't lose a clean match, except against Henry.. which is an exception because he's retiring soon anyway. Back when he was The Legend Killer he was great but this whole Babyface Viper gimmick is "Boring". Orton is capable of turning this around and he could still be as great as he was back in the day. Also ever since he went face his Mic Skills have dropped, its like he's just not into it anymore.
CaptainHutz
Agreed. I get the sense Randy himself wants to go heel again but the WWE feel they can ride his popularity abit longer.
He's one of those wrestlers that was just born to be the bad guy. Arrogant, weasel, dominant, intense, evil, etc.... you name all the heel varieties, he can disappear into them. But as a face, he's only been ever been credible with a wave of momentum behind him, once that momentum subsides he goes stale remarkably quickly. In 05, they brought him back at just the right time ..... no such awareness this time around though
IT'S NOT REAL!
Are they athletes? Yes
Are they skilled entertainers? Also yes
Is the result of every match decided weeks in advance? YES
Is the match itself scripted, ie. all wrestlers know where they should be at all times (and are told so)? YES

I'm just struggling to understand how you can all get so worked up over something so scripted
Is the match itself scripted, ie. all wrestlers know where they should be at all times (and are told so)? YES

This isn't fully true, matches are pre-determined yes but the majority of the match is decided in the ring as they wrestle, the wrestlers talk to each other, the only thing decided are the big moves and the finisher
Is the result of every match decided weeks in advance? YES

just noticed this one, this is also wrong, jericho wrote in his book how it was often on the night when he was told who would win, they would sometimes change thier minds at the last minute
Also, who goes the cinema and walks out saying fk that.. It was scripted
Are they athletes? Yes
Are they skilled entertainers? Also yes

Both of these are wrong too, not all of them are, the great khali is neather!!!!
