I'm thinking Woods might run away with this one, after watching him last week in the invitational he looks back to near his best which is good enough to beat anyone else (inc Rory).
If Tiger continues his recent improvement I think he can take it.
PaddyPower is paying 6 places. I am gonna back Adam Scott at 33/1 and Keegan Bradley at 30/1 both e/w
I was going to start one of these later in the week
But good to see one up none the less
justin rose at 30/1 for me
Paddy power is the place to bet, just because you get your money back on losers if Tiger Woods wins!!!
His driving is still a problem though I think, he got away with a lot of wayward drives and the field didn't really put any pressure on him over the final two days at Bay Hill, McDowell DB on the 1st was the best that could have happened to Woods.
Obvious choices but Tiger, Rory, and Luke should all be in with a shout.
For longer shots Snedeker and Haas.
I was going to go for Hunter Mahan but after his win last week, maybe not now.
Woods' driving has been pretty good of late. His distance control on his irons has been his weak point.
But someone posted last year on the old beeb 606 he has "Masters muscle memory" and depsite his problems has always been there or thereabouts at Augusta.
I would say at least top five
Woods will certainly be in contention, he always is, Phil Mickelson is also one with "master muscle memory" and he can't be ignored, as much as I wouldn't like him to win (just don't like him for some reason)
Hearing of thunderstorms on the first two days, can make things interesting
I hear you Roda
For many years I had a unjustied anti-Phil stance but over the last couple of years I taken to his carefree ways.
He was my top tip last year after his stunning weekend in Houston but didn't quite manage to repeat it the following week. One of the reasons I am thinking of not going for Mahan this year.
Haha fair enough! i may back him this year and if he wins i can too get over my unknown hatred for him!
I find it strange that Luke Donald, THE WORLD NUMBER ONE, seems to be an outsider. Such a consistent player and his iron play is out of this world.
I followed him around Wentworth when he was a bit younger, very very talented. He sunk one of the best putts I've ever seen in the flesh, a 30 footer down a tier to save par after a poor chip.
Masters is truly wide open this year, I'm guessing on Donald (though a McIlroy and Woods run doen the last nine holes would be exciting!).
down*
The way it's written above is how McIlroy would say it!
I'm worried about Luke Donald putting with his driver
It'll end in tears I tell you
My money is on Donald £10 e/w @13/1, so don't be surprised to see him struggle to make the cut.
Paul Casey 150/1 for a tenner e/w.
Donald just seems like he will never win a major, i hope he does, but it just seems to not happen for him.
The weather is going to play a huge part, soft, so expect the big hitters to make a move

Anyone know how the weather is going to affect the start tonight?
Dont look to good over there.
On a side note, my moneys on G Mac 66's e/w and perhaps a punt on adam scot.

I think if Donald is going to win a major it will be the Masters. He has the short game for it and it is the most forgiving of the majors off the tee.
His record at Augusta is pretty good and he is showing some decent form.

Kaymer leading at the moment, overlooked because of his poor form at augusta but he certainly has the potential to win a green jacket!
I hope Luke wins it, swing to die for, plays Mizuno like myself.
As an irishman though won't complain if Rory and Co can give us another Major.
On the nose to win Z Johnson, my E/w Freddie Jacobson and Nick Watney and leading Amateur K Kraft.
Should be a classic.
