he went into left bunker with approach, chipped to about 20 feet leaving tricky downhill putt and then 3 putted.
how long was the 2nd put ?
it was only about 3 feet, looked twitchy, didn't even threaten the hole. There's been quite a number of poor approach shots to the green, even from the fairway, for no particular reason.I think 18 is toughest hole today statistically.
the bbc exaggerated then at 2 inches !
yesterday he was rea;;y casual with a couple of 3 or 4 footers, just lining one foot up and leaning over. hope he wasnt doing the same at 18 today.
Tiger is now closer to a kitten, miaow.
thanks for that observation igor
JPB - to be honest he just didn't look comfortable at all over the putt, more a case of he knew how important it was rather than being too casual. Both McIlroy and Garcia went left from pretty much middle of the fairway, I don't know if there's a breeze that is catching them out.
And your problem is what chappy?
dont know mate. ive got it on online now though.
lee still in good shape for the weekend
Its the mud-ball thats catching them out, should be clean and drop if ness.
I hope Westwood gets one at some point, but as I've backed Rory and Bubba, not this one!!
woods dropping back badly now after a good start
his swing looks a mess again
Absolutely no need for that language! You wouldn't hear that at the football
+5 projected cut....what odds woods misses it ??
he still has the tricky back 9 holes to navigate
i hadnt realised couples was leading
he's so good round augusta.
He's putting like me, alright kenneth.
this is the reason why nicklaus won this major at 46....experience means everything around augusta
As I said, Couples is the coolest man in golf and a swing to die for.
couples has always played well at augusta...the course is made for him...
if only he could put, he would have won alot more than just the 1 major
you need to be able to put too though. experience really counts the most sunday afternoon doesnt it ?
Its going to be a classic back 9 come sunday.
does woods think he's seve or something ?
