Kaboul was far superior to Gallas yesterday even though he had a solid game overall...Kaboul got forward and defended brilliantly, cant ask more really

honestly lads i am not being funny but gallas was majestic yesterday... he ran the show at the back....

kaboul probably got headlines cos of his spectacular blocks... but he really did go walkabout a lot ! more than usual....

You see how out of place Gallas was at one point? Cant remember who but if the Swansea player went down it would have been a pen.

Also there was another point where, yes he made an impressive last gasp tackle, but still was at fault for not playing the line.

Kabouls blocks were very good, he saved at least 2 goals I reckon. Yes he did ruin the back 4 shape a bit, but so did billy.

i remember this well. it was at the other end to me so didnt have the best view... however i remember saying at the time.. that thank god that was gallas chasing back not kaboul.. if it was kaboul he would 100% have tripped him up or charged into the back of him lol

Gallas had his arms allover the feller and if anything the Swansea kid was naive (and noble) not to go down.

Fair enough if you were there Chronic....you see more of the work not shown by cameras so I'll bow to your superior knowledge. I guess Kaboul seemed more involved for us tele viewers yesterday.

-------

galv.. i promise you, whilst kaboul played well.. imo he was out of position so often that if swansea had been a more direct team, instead of happy to knock it around in midfield, then they would have been in quite a few times....

overall though at the moment kaboul and gallas is undoubtedly our best partnership.

Kaboul was at fault for our goal IMO. Just like when Ashley Young scored, it took him far too long to react and close him down!

Lennon should get a 10 An assist, 100% pass completion, 100% successful dribbles

Brad 8 - for the save alone

=====================

I dont think he deserves an 8 for just one save. Isn't "saving" his job?

He did enough to put it onto the post, but i think most keepers would have got that.

Fridel = 7.

Not buying this bale hype yes he was good mainly near the end when they was tiring though!

Lennon gets a mention to for his assist can't wait until he learns to cross though as everyone seems to say he can't yet!

Chronic,

Friedel is fine, as long as we dont allow him to have much to do.

I dont think we realise how good our defence actually is. How many times has he had to keep us in a game this season?

The only stand-out game was Fulham away. Although i'll give him credit for that, i think most of them saves were more luck than judgement.

I hate to say it, but i'd rather Robert Green than Friedel. And if West Ham dont go up, he's a free agent too. Coincidence? ...who knows?

Chicken our defence ain't that good and friedel has made some outstanding saves this season and to say Robert green is better is just silly!

Even tho he was totally mugged once and came so near to giving away a penalty it was unreal ?

as i have said earlier... i was sat completely the opposite end for that...so was far away... and it didnt look as bad as it apparantly was from him..... have not seen a replay...

----------------------------------------------

Take my advice, dont watch a replay if you do you will have to knock Gallas's mark down to about 6.5.

Lets be honest about both him and King, they are past it, their legs have gone.

Yes they will do ok in certain games nad their experience will make them look good players at times against average teams. Unfortunately as the woolwich and chelsea away games proved both of them under pressure are simply not good enough anymore.

Such a shame as well Ledley is one step away from being a god at WHL
