I think its very smart on Haye's part as he'll only have to fight for big purses;
Rather than facing every one of the WBO, WBC,WBA and whoever's mandatory challengers he leaves on a high, with people wanting more.
This allows any talented fighters in the division a chance to build their prestige so that when he does come out of retirement there is more intrest and a bigger payday.
The Klitchkos will fight on providing a benchmark - anyone who beats them, gains credibility and marketability making a fight worth Hayes while!
This way, Haye can earn as much money from a fraction of the fights, and in boxing - a profession where you get punched in the face for a living, I think its a smart way to go about things!
