Diaby is not a waste of space.
==========================
Agreed, ashes don't take lots of space!
Considering our squad size is limited, he is injured so much I don't see the point of carrying him. He may be very talented but I would rather have his space taken up by someone else who can be relied upon to play.
Unfortunately he has become a drain on our squad size and wage bill.
Arshavin I can recall all the Gooners on the old 606 banging on about how he was the new best player in the world after the liverpool game where he scored 4, look at it now
Didn't he also come out and say he was just at Arsenal to get himself a move to a big europe?

No, he never has said that
never rated Arshavin that highly tbh, lazy
I still rate Arshavin. It's just he's used to being the star/focal point of the team and he came to Arsenal and was expected to play out wide and track back etc, and he just doesn't do that. He's like Berbatov in that respect. Would like to see him played up front behind RVP, but I don't think that will happen now, as the Ox is next in line for that position, and can also do it on the wings.
Arshavin dream was to play for Barca we all know that...but he was not good enuf
How many players will Arsenal need to sign/ promote to replace all these outgoing players?
I don't think that many tbh, 2 or 3. Our squad is really big just so many average and crap players and most of them aren't playing at all so won't make a difference if we get rid.
Diaby should stick around. Vela, Denilson, Squillaci, Benayoun and Almunia will not be at the club next summer, pretty much guarenteed.

Don't be so sure. I remember saying that Almunia was on his way out at the start of last summer and yet, there he is.
Maybe he's a really good cook and the team aren't willing to sell him on at the risk of losing their source of world class paella.
Almunia's contract expires
Thank christ!
Now let's just hope Wenger doesn't accidentally give him a new one again.
Almunia's expires, not sure about Squillaci's, some reports say it's up this summer, others say he has one more year. Benayoun will not extend his loan. Denilson is going back to Sao Paulo on loan for around half his wages and a small fee for the last year of his contract. Vela will sign for Real, where he is on loan, for a pretty low fee.
Are we keeping Djourou then??
Also, I rate Vela, I think he should be given a good chance in the team.
JoDjo signed a new contract so he's staying.
I doubt Vela will stay. He's looking for first team football and he won't be getting it at Arsenal. He always looked quite talented but I won't miss him.
