It seems this is very much a batsman's pitch and it will be interesting to see how the WI bowlers cope.
They must make early inroads into the Aussie top order if they have any chance to prevent a big total.

Early wicket for Sammy, Great start.

I could not understand for the life of me how slowly Chanderpaul was playing yesterday, even after he got to 3 figures. I don't mean to take anything away from his brilliant knock, but after, he should have been hitting out to try to get closer to 500 or get out in the process. There was over an hour left in the day, meaning that they could have over 15-20 overs at the Aussies, but he was just blocking out!! Sammy eventually declared, but I really felt Chanderpaul was playing for his average there. I can understand the playing slowly to get to the 100, but after that, there is no excuse.

It was funny though seeing the reaction of the home fans!

Sorry for the rant!!

Lol I was going to make an article at my frustration yesterday, but then thought no1 on this board is paying attention to this match!!

The lower order batsmen were scoring quickly so he just kept up his end. It's the old fashioned test batting way when runs are flowing at one end

Warner doing the business for Australia that Hayden so regularly used to do.
He is the find of the summer.

The 9th wicket put on 28 runs in 12 overs and I think Sammy declared because he wanted a crack at the Aussies before the light went.

I hope a wicket falls now.Been a long time saw Master Ponting in action.

Chopping Warner's success so far is based upon two centuries. In his other eight innings he averaged about 13.

hopefur,
When you take water out of glass, the glass will become empty.
What are you talking about?
Take the game Ronaldo hasnt scored a goal and he has no goal in the remaining games.

hopefur,
You jinxed that poor Warner.Shame on you. he was batting so beautifully.

Chopping an opening bat who only makes two good scores out out of ten, can hardly be called the find of the summer.
I see he's gone caught behind again.

The Great Ricky Thomas Ponting walks out to the crease.
May the lord bestow him enough luck to get another big hundred.

A maiden 300 for Ponting?
Wow that would be wonderful.

Ponting on the crease makes butterflies fly all over my stomach.
None batsman is so exciting. Also since he is my favourite bat, I feel kindof nervous to watch him bat.Just afraid if he just knicks a ball.
Go ponting go.You are the man,.YOU...ARE...THE....MAN.
