96 Fans died on that day. Show some resect please. That date is, sadly, part of our history and is very emotional for the entire club.
Let him know your thoughts. He is getting attacked on twitter today @alandavies1
Insensitive fool. Arsenal should ban him from the show for that.
absolute disgrace, he's got a show coming up in Liverpool lets boycott it!!
I bet he cancels his show in September. If he doesn't i'm getting a ticket and i will berate him the whole performance and then i will egg the wiggy ......
Shall we cancel the memorial service to keep him happy? What a d!ckhead!
Another clown looking for cheap publicity !!!!!!
I agree with Alan Davies too, Liverpudlians do seem to feel a sense of entitlement that no other city expects, I am happy for them not to play if they feel that strongly about it - as long as they forfeit the match - after all it's only a game...

Put things into perspective here Itsaboutbackfour, there are more important things than 22 men kicking a ball around a pitch. A memorial service to remember the 96 and to help their families is much more important, if you think it is not then you need to sort your life out!

Ignorance aT it's finest! Every year on the 15th of april there is a memorial service held at Anfield that all the clubs fans, players, staff, coaches etc attend, for those 96 that died doing what we all love doing watching the team we love, surely you could think about those just for a moment before passing such ill placed comments!
Go to the memorial service before or after the game, I am sure the timings can be sorted out - or forfeit the match - it's no problem
To think I generally liked Alan Davies. TWaaaT!!!!!
Plus anyone read the comments below the article?? That Liam is another complete douche!!!!!
The idiots have missed the point totally. Yes there have been other unfortunate disasters, but none of them have been swept under the carpet by the authorities like this one. No closure still. JFT96 One day we will be able to just remember.
if it came down to it, i would forfeit the game if they refused to change it, some things are just more important than football. But itsaboutbackfour you need to reassess a few things.
and kennys fluffily fringe, i did, he is such a tool. I don't get all this only liverpool won't play on the anniversary tradergy. If other clubs wanted to do the same, i would have no problem with it.

ItsAboutTheBackFour (U9916) is another pr!ck.
Can I just ask what it's got to do with Davies? He's an Arsenal fan, it's not as if a game involving his club has been re-arranged as a result of this.

While we're at it, why do they close Whitehall of to traffic on November 11th? Why can't they remember the dead with traffic roaring past them?
There have been a lot of football tragedies where people have died, if we are going to say that for every club involved in each tragedy we are not respecting the dead by playing on the anniversaries then the whole thing over time will be completely unmanageable.

But to the best of my knowledge, Chelsea haven't made any fuss about it.
==================
This is just plain incorrect, Chelsea requested the game be moved and it was rejected, they're very upset about it - it's ridiculous that it cannot be moved - and I'm not a Chelsea supporter.

The FA bowed to Liverpool's pre-emptive strike - and then told Chelsea to f_____ 0ff...
