Personally, i don't think Wenger will win another game against United unless they play poor or we win by luck, because Fergie has his number. It's much easier to set out a team when you know what the opposition is going to do.

True. Two goals from Na$ri. It was the start of the season and, as it turned out, didn't play match part in the overall outcome of the season.

I doubt if we could have repeated the same result in April though, if it could count.

In more then several occasions this season, Wenger has looked jaded, stubborn and clueless. When the team needed a change and shake about, Wenger would often set out mind-boggling subs or tactics.
===================================
Agreed but this is when experienced players get into action.
Sometimes, the manager will look or be clueless but the players can take initiatives.
We finally (thank god! ) have those players in Arteta Song and and RVP.
Bare in mind, we have played the entire season without a proper creative midfield, you can't help to ask yourself what it would have been if.....

Ok i understand why you can't multi-board this article...

BUT WHY RUB IT IN BY LINKING BALA TOWN INSTEAD??

Wenger needs to do a few things apart from the obvious rotation of buy and selling of players:

1) Sort out a long-term assistant manager and possible replacement.

2) A complete rethink of the youth system. The unbalance of our youth setup is beyond a joke and costing us financially.

3) A rethink of the formation. For me, a 4-3-3 without a playmaker is unjustifiable.

Least we not forget, the biggest bottlers of the last 7 years have been Arsenal.

We are bottlers (or used to be should I dare?!) because we never had a deep squad and half of our first XI were/are injury prone.
Players were getting tired toward the end of the season and we didn't have any answers on the bench.
This is what's happening right now at Spurs, they just can't rotate enough.
I watched the highlight of the Chelsea game yesterday and it was the same. Toward the end of the game, no one was running anymore and if I was a Chelsea fan, I'd be really worried right now.

I'm reserving judgement on this season's Arsenal team until the end of the season.

Too many times have we fallen to the likes of Wolves and supposed easy games. Too many times have we been on a superior level, only for over-confidence to take over and finish us.

I have a slightly different take on this, and my answer would be Arsenal.

Man Utd, depsite being poor in Europe have won the league again.

Man City, despite spending a lot of money, were for the most part the favourites for the league, and they've lost it a bit at the end. They gave it a good go but Fergie and Man Utd's experience has won them the league. Finsihing 2nd is not a bad thing.

Spurs, did better than expected to begin with, and as predicted by many months ago, the whels have fallen off but they still get top 4 whcih is an acheievement by Spurs' standards and an FA Cup.

Chelsea - made big changes, new manager, new players, hasn't worked out for them but still might get 4th spot, are in the semis of the FA Cup and Champions League.

Liverpool - new players, relatively new manager, outside hopes of 4th place. Poor league form but they they have a cup and have a chance of another cup.

All these teams have won something, or are close to winning something. Man City did a decent job in contending for the title and will come a good second. Utd will win the title. Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea could all still get a cup.

And the fans of all these clubs are disappointed. Spurs fans for not getting 3rd, Chelsea fans for not competing with the league, Man Utd fans for not doing better in Europe, Liverpool fans for not getting anywhere near Top 4 and Man City fans for not winning th eleguae. A lot of dissapointment and some dissatisfaction.

The one club that has yet again failed miserably is Arsenal. Not close to winning a trophy, satisfied with Top 4. Another April and yet again Arsenal are out of all competitions, with another season of being trophyless. Fans yet again being apathetic to the lack of success because they've finisihed Top 4 again, and thats good for the finances!

It shouldn't be called bottling it anymore, it should be called doing an Arsenal.

Better than the manager justifying his failure by claiming he had secure a brand deal?

Serial,

I'm expecting us winning all our remaining fixtures, that will be too good to be true but I can see the others team dropping points as well. Let's just hope that they'll drop more than us!

Kenny never actually said that. Only people who couldn''t read the full article because they got distracted by shiny lights believe he did.

And since when was winning a cup a failure. Granted league form has been poor.

Liverpool without a doubt....

Although not all of us expected top4 this season

Where to start with your contribution??

Fans yet again being apathetic to the lack of success because they've finisihed Top 4 again
------------------------------------------------------

You're forgetting that a few months ago we were closer to the relegation teams then the top 4. No one was satisfied then. But we all realistically expected another struggle of a season considering the lack of investment, selling of ouir better players and early season form.

Your reasoning about Man City is pathetic at best. Yes they spent money and yes they were favourites but they had never won it or experienced it and therefore are not bottlers? So despite having Trophy winning players and a multi-trophy winning coach with world class setup, they are still not expected to win it or least challenge until the last day? I expect this type of analysis from a Liverpool fan.

Liverpool - new players, relatively new manager, outside hopes of 4th place.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

New players who have all (apart from Suarez) experience in the PL. Chance of a top 4?? Again, this deluded comment i expect from a Liverpool fan. You've won a trophy that no serious big club really challenged for. Not even Tottenham.

But you're right though. Liverpool can't be considered the biggest bottlers. After all, nobody but your deluded bunch really thought you had any chance of a top 4 finish.

FatJanMolby, well done for twisting the phrase bottling it to mean whatever you want it to mean to support your argument that Arsenal are the biggest bottlers. Shame it all falls apart when logic is applied but top marks for effort.

I apologise if i painted all Liverpool fans with the same brush as FatJanMolby. He does have a unique method of debating which basically includes making nonsense up.

This is a competition used by the big team to develop theirs youngest players!

FatJan, do you even know what bottling it means?

Being top for three quarters of a season then losing every game - bottling it.

Being dire all season - not bottling it.

if you are basing this on trophies on the table.....
.
it has to be city.......bazillions spent , yet its another easy title for united

liverpool...i pretty early knew that we didnt have enough firepower to get near top 4 ..but we have a trophy in the bag ..and believe it or not wummers....that ok with me for a start .....

arsenal....havent won anything in ages..but good league form has put them nearly into the champs league...so not them either ....

chelsea...same as liverpool really...new manager , new tactics...and could be in the europa with us ......

nobody has said spurs.....they are bottling it as we speak ..and all their talk about being top guns in london ....
