Just played a ridiculous game. The other team were on steroids I swear, my 95 pace striker was slower than a 60 pace defender. Couldn't win a single header against midgets, their players also seemed like tanks that couldn't be knocked off the ball. To cap it all off, the ref was a joke as well.
Hate it when that happens, pace doesn't seem to count on random games, the game just decides you're not getting through.
Second friendly 1-0 win at Granada, Holtby scoring.

Got Barcad by Bilbao in the last friendly. Lost 2-1, they had 62% possession. I somehow had double the number of shots though.

Lost 2-1 to Stuttgart. Legendary is just not for me. It's impossible, they track you down like dogs, the amount of tackles they put in is insane. They also seem to think you get points for having more possession than the opponent (which eventually they do if they can convert their chances). I have not played a game yet where I have had over 50% possession, and the most shots I have had is 6. Too much. I'm going to go to world class, then bump a couple of sliders up to get the gameplay right.

It's just too much. Every team is like Barcelona in their passing and closing down, and neither team creates any chances. World class is right for me in that it's challenging but still fun, if sometimes unrealistic. Legendary is not fun.

Giving up on this mode, too many fixed games that I will lose no matter what I do.
There are games like that online as well though.
Better than playing dull AI that does the same thing over and over.
Maybe. Offline you don't get the mad kick-you-out-of-a-tournament connection or dreadful matchmaking though. And at least the computer doesn't play Agbonglahor and Bent up front every game.

the highest OVr I've had from a defender coming out the academy is 69
Mine were both defenders as well. The majority of good youths are defenders and all the full backs are better as CB'a usually. In my final season when you searched for players under the age of 30 (all real players are over 30 by then) and over 70 OVR I'd say at least two thirds were defenders
