Growth was fine in FIFA 12 for the first time on PS3. 09 you assigned points yourself which was silly, 10 can't remember, 11 growth was broken, nobody grew, only went down, 12 was spot on.

I don't want everyone growing their full potential within two seasons. Wilshere in my Arsenal one grew 2 points in the first season. So far on my Schalke one a couple of players have increased by 1, with others having individual stats slowly increasing, which is how it should be.

The growth rates on the other teams are much faster than on your team I noticed.

Youth players don't increase quick enough either.

Youth players grow fine with CPU teams but not with your own. Though I would like to see some variation for the sake of realism. Maybe some players don't grow as much in their teens but will have big jumps in their early 20's. There also needs to be more that start off with a higher OVR - you rarely get starting OVR's more than late 60's, should be a few youngster that start in the 70's if let in the academy till 18 (not a lot though).

And the CPU should find better players.

There should be far more young players being developed by each team

A Youth XI would be good, get updates from who's playing well and looks promising

Yeah those updates you get twice a month in the news of a youth player doing well are terrible

I don't know about youth players growth if I'm honest. They've never got further than being loaned out for me.
