I'm enjoying Theo's form as much as the next man but he's still claiming he wants to play as a central striker.

As good as he's been on the wing, I just don't see him being effective in that role.

He dosnt really play on the wing. His defensive duties are that of a winger, but going forward he is more of an inside forward.

Obviously Arsenal would have to change formation to fit Theo in up front and I can't see that happening.

To be honest he already plays the central role as much as Henry ever did, he would spend most of his time on the left and then cut in. Just because Theo lines up on the right he's hardly someone who hugs the touchline, if you look at the majority of his assists him and van Persie are virtually within touching distance of each other which kind of suggests their both pretty central.

The only real 'winger' job we ask him to do is to track back and help out the full back.

Ah, Chris Waddle. Is he:

a) a multi-lingual internationally renown pundit, or

b) some bloke who does a bit for local radio in the North East with (very occassional) appearances on C5 when Craig Burley has a head-ache ?

Surely the answer can't be (a) 'cos that might suggest a lack of a punditry brain ...

"Shame Lennon hasn't played much this season due to injury."

True. It wouldn't have taken us half as long to overtake Spurs if he had.

Walcott not only made a great run inside a fullback, but knew when to play a one-two and managed to stay onside when he won that pelanty yesterday.

What does Waddle know eh?

Just hopes he signs the contract (but forget the 100,000 a week claim) If he gets his wish, this will come back to haunt him (Carrol, Torres)

Walcott has to sign a new contract, we stuck by him when everyone said he had no football brain until we sent him off with the lion, tinman and scarecrow...

To be honest though if he left...the OX awaits
