or better still....keep it and take it up to Vile park.....then hand it in as a donation to go towards paying Blues our compensation for taking McJudas off our hands...
Now that really is Funny!!!!!
Forever Blue,
They won't need donations from fans once Downing and then Bent leave. they'll be awash with cash, but with no-one wanting to sign up to be part of the dross style of play so loved by Big F eck.
BoyFromBum
Can you explain your inane claptrap?
Go to a cashpoint, take ten or twenty quid out, wait for BoyfromBum & his Chav mates to turn up...then spark him out!
Hey guys, don't be so bitter! And please stay away, this is a Premier board only!
Remember when I predicted your downfall at Xmas time. How you laughed at such a prediction. How you feeling now?
Yep looks like our owners are crooks
But all you want as it was McLeish's awfull tactics that got us relegated
Hope you watched Wimbledon last week, as thats what your football will be like under McLeish.
He will play for Deuce
The KiD
Actually I am feeling much more optimistic than you will be come the end of September when realisation finally dawns!
I'm sure though you won't need us to come up with your own anti-McJudas songs when the time comes!
Killpage...
Remember all those times we got stick off Villa fans for the poor football under McLeish and how he was a joke Funny now they got him as Manager they are now starting to think he is the best thing since sliced bread
This is even more funny than when Wolves fans called Bent a waste of time etc etc then they loaned him off us
Well lets see how Big Eck does at Villa, he may prove he has a clue when it comes down to tactics....
But i would not bank on it
The KiD
The kid is here! An intelligent nose enters the building at last!
I know kid, the players are jumping ship, and no decent replacements look interested. It's back to Deadly's shoestring again, but the thickos on SW won't have it. Oh no, we must not criticise, we robots must obey! Jeez, the fanboys are so naive and dumb it's untrue. I listen more to some noses about our club than our own. At least the noses are clued in. The faithful are as blind as bats.
Remember when I predicted your downfall at Xmas time. How you laughed at such a prediction. How you feeling now
Not as funny as the Villa fans thinking the likes of Rijkaard,Moyes and Ancelotti would be interested in managing their club. I can't wait till next season when it starts all over again.
Yeah, but at least we've got a chance, not a great one, but one nonetheless, whereas yous face a very sticky future indeed.
End of the day we wont know what McLeish will be like, there is nothing to say McLeish can not do well at Villa or build/play attacking football with a ballance of defend.
Proof will be in the pudding, and only time can tell.
for us Hughton has a tougher task, as he hands may be tied depending on how much he can have to rebuild whats left once players leave.
And the off field antics/trouble that Yeung is in, is far beyond the controll of Hughton.
I thnk Hughton would have kept us up, i dont think the style McLeish used with us would have got us promoted as you cant play for draws in Championship.
But how McLeish would do at Villa, well thats unknown.
If he does great he could prove us wrong, if he does poor then gets the sack well it would confirm the worries that a number of Villa fans had over him in the first place.
As far as Blues future well who knows, we could be doomed but the again we was doomed and in debts and skint over last 2 windows prior yet we spent money.
The biggest problem with us is not so much how bad or good things will get, its that we are always left in the DARK over such matters.
We just dont have a clue about Yeung and how/where he really gets his money from and who the other shareholders really are.
The KiD
Well, unlike many a fanboy, I wasn't at all chuffed to see Eck at Villa. Houghton would have been a better choice for us, anyone at all really. The leopard will have to change his spots or he is toast by Xmas IMO, and RL would then be in the dock, if he already isn't in many a Villan's eyes.
I grudgingly support Eck, as I have no choice. But happy I am not.
Blues are doomed. I would doubt very much that they will be able to compete with the likes of Forest, Leeds, Blackpool, West Ham etc. Can't see them coming back up for a few years. With the amount of players they are losing and the financial/criminal debacle with their owner, things are looking very bad. They lose Gardner (a good Championship player-but thats about it), won't be able to hold onto Dann, Larsson gone, Bentley back home, their manager quits....... not good for the poorer side of town. It's a shame really, because statistically, we get most of the points when we play. We might get lucky and draw them in a cup competition.
It is indeed oz, and with the exodus of players from both clubs, brum is in a real mess at the mo. It comes to something when saggies and stoke are in better shape than we are, with brighter futures.
AussieVillan
Those are such silly plastic comments
Gardner a championship player, yet he was one of the highest scoring CM players in the Prem last season and thats some task with a negative set up McLeish had.
How many of your midfield players scored more than 10 goals last season
Maybe Gardner had a one off lucky season, or maybe he is a decent player who never got enough chances at Villa.
Either way Sunderland have signed him for £6M a gamble for a player who is only good for the Championship yet never played there.
Then again Johnson and Dann are also just Championship players, they was 2 seasons ago but are in demand now
I think we can do well if we can get a side built as fast as possible for that we need to sell players fast if we are to rebuild but we do not want to sell them cheap.
Nothing worse than say signing no new defenders and then in last week sell Johnson, Dann and Ridgewell and then have to rush to find 3 more replacements.
The side we have now if we lost no one else is good enough to get promoted we maybe could do with another Winger and Centre Midfield (Larsson, Gardner replacements) other than that i think its good enough.
Larsson and Gardner has gone but i think Routledge and Guthrie are good enough replacements for the task of getting Promoted.
But again the situation with Yeung is a problem, as if this means we get our finances frozen and so have to sell to buy and then we dont get much to spend and see best players sold.
Thats when it could get tough, as i am sure players would be very cautious to move to Blues as of now.
And sadly any potential transfers may have to be put on hold for a while.
Do i think we would go up..... not in the Automatic places.
The KiD
lets hope we play the blue noses in the cup next season utv
Yep that would be great....
I remember the last time we played in a cup and Villa smashed us did they not
Nope Zigic put a stop to that
The KiD
Banjo, plastic comments! What the...? Just because they are at odds with your own expert opionion? Gardner is rubbish. I paid over 30 quid a pop to watch him many times. Each time I watched him I kept thinking to myself, 'geez, how is this bloke a Premier League player?' He could barely pass a ball ffs. Yes, 10 goals is good. He has a good shot on him (at times), but still doesn't mask the fact that his distribution is awful. I restate: Gardner's level is Championship. That is my 'plastic' opinion. I can picture you, sitting in a pub, you overhear someone giving their opionion that doesn't gel with your own so you give them some long-winded spiel about how wrong they are, pausing occaisionally to give them the 'thumbs up'.
"But again the situation with Yeung is a problem"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Understatement of the year. Like saying being hit in the balls 'hurts a little'.
I have not stated that all Villa fans are plastic
But there are a number that are kinda Plastic and i say kinda plastic because they would Support Man Utd if they was propper Plastic.
So no i am not calling fans Plastic because they dont agree with me.
I just noted that from my experience a lot of people who have a arogant, self centred attitude from Birmingham tend to support Villa over Blues, because it goes with their egos.
Blues compared are not even in their league as a club and so they wont support their egos. (this is part why i am a Bluenose).
I never see many Bluenoses being cocky to other fans, only a few recently and thats because of the sucsess Blues have had, you see Sucsess gets to the head of some fans and they like to brag about it and have a pop and laugh at fans whos clubs are not having any.
As far as Gardner goes, well maybe he never did well for you, maybe he never got many chances. Maybe there are good reasons for that.
But at Blues his passing was not that bad, at times it was not good but then the same was with a lot of players inc Ferguson who was a good passer last season and i put it down to the tactics.
Maybe you just see them as Villa rejects and when they join Blues you just dont want to see them do well, maybe like i dont want to see McLeish do well (but we have better reasons to).
We will have to see how Gardner does for Sunderland, maybe his time at Blues was a fluke.
Give it 2 seasons we can ask Sunderland fans what they think as they would be totally unbiased.
Re-Coker was not that good for Villa but he was decent for West Ham at the time Reo-Coker looked every bit a £7-8M player, but at Villa he never looked worth half that.
Gardner for us looked a player worth double the £3M we paid, yet for Villa he never stood out to be worth more than £3M
We can judge Gardner after 1-2 seasons at Sunderland and Reo-Coker after 1-2 seasons for his next club.
Dont forget that Charlie Adam was not regarded as a very good player prior to Blackpool he was decent but no one back when he was at Rangers or loaned out prior to Blackpool saw he had potential to be worth over £8M
The KiD
Craig Gardner seems to take a step up to a better club with every move...villa,Blues and now Sunderland!
Enjoy next season with McJudas,it'll be like watching golf...FORE!!!
Haha, the total loser that lives in Barca is here again! What a tube. Gardner couldn't even get in our first 11, that's why he was at yours and now Sunderland, because he doesn't want to be in your first 11, not in the Chumpionship, you sad loser.
Like how Young and Downing want to play for clubs who can win trophies and get into Europe each season.
Gardner as i said did well for us, what ever happened at Villa is behind him, for us he played more regular and did well.
I said and i will say it again that his spell at Sunderland will prove if he is either decent or a donkey as you claim.
