Meanwhile, reports suggest West Brom and West Ham are monitoring Jussi Jaaskelainen’s contract situation at Wanderers.

The experienced Finn is among 10 first-team players who are awaiting offers from the club, and has recently fallen behind Adam Bogdan in the pecking order.

It is understood Wanderers want to keep hold of the 37-year-old keeper, who is closing in on Eddie Hopkinson's all-time club appearance record, but will not be resuming talks on a new deal until their Premier League status is decided.

Petrov is inconsistant but remains one of the few players we have who actually run at a defense.....you rarely see him pass it backwards. I think he holds up the ball well on his runs down the line.
I would offer all our out of contract players a one year contract at reduced salary of course.
Our squad is small enough already and we cannot presume an influx of new talent.
