RRP - It's not so much Bale I have a problem with it's Modric, Parker and our central defence all not scoring . Ade hasn't scored from open play in a while either. You're quite right though, Ade is not so different from Crouch truth be told. We should avoid getting one of these lanky types for our next striker.

Spurtle - Modric needs to get forward more, we used to play him behind the striker and it used to work quite well, he got loads more chances (even though he missed them), i dont know, lets just end this season and somehow get through it then we can have a summer to sort out the plan for next season

As for lanky strikers, look at City, STOCKY strikers are the way to go, pace and power

I'd like to see Modric rested against Blackburn - they'll only bully him off the ball anyway.

like edins team tbh. Have no problem with dropping Modric for this and playing Parker and Sandro centrally. We definately need VDV dropping back for that extra man in midfield too. They have a soft underbelly right now and need help there.

I wouldnt like to see us rest anyone really, only 5 games left, they can rest in the summer and its not like we have any players to come in for them either
