sandro...... i dont think any of us would ever turn our back on spurs.. i will still be at the lane next sunday whether i want to be or not, same with next season, and the season after and the season after.

Great way to get outcasted by JA606 posters

But then again you are the guy that said we should sign Holt

Chronic....................

Sandro..................Don't be too hard on your fellow Spurs fans, its mainly borne out frustration and disappointment that once again we might have flattered to decieve.

I dont understand where you are coming from buddy?

I go to the games and i was calling for Harry's sacking.

Does that make me wrong?

It does not mean i care any less for the club.

Echo those comments chronic, just be carfeful what we wish for

Well said, there are a few plastic spurs fans on this forum who turn on their own team simply because they can no longer wum against their rival clubs.

The point of following a football team is to support them through thick and thin, its is not to use the club you support as a platform for achieving self fulfillment through making fun of other clubs.

Hopefully the lesson has been well and truly learnt for those gobby plastic fans I refer to.

now is the times the players need the fans,
------

Why do they deserve us? It's not like they've been performing fantastic, fighting for the cause and just been unlucky? They've been pathetic.

What does embrassed mean?

I was there yesterday and liked the fact spurs fans sang sings to Harry such as "he plays on the left, he plays on the leeeeft, Gareth Bale he plays on the left". Also "Harry for England".

this could still be your best season in the PL era, Arry's right when he says Spurs fans are deluded about where you should be.

some of you guys are sensible and i realise everyone is frustrated, but some of the comments are just plain stupid, 2 months ago s parker and modric were best pairing in league and to most (not everyone) harry was god, now i see people making jokes about harry and parker and wishing modric sold, we need charactor and support not stupidity

Give it a rest. We have excellent supporters, they are lucky to have us!

posted on 22/4/12

if you were there u will know how good our "real" supporters are and yes harry does have his ways and makes mistakes but any 1 with a half a brain can see hes the best manager and assembled the best team since late 80s early 90s, people have short memorys, and we will miss him if he goes mark my words

Some people on here make our fans look so stupid, 2 months ago all of u were singing from the roof tops how great we are and saying how stupid and fickle gunners fans are for slating wenger, same people are now doing the exact same thing with us, its embarassing

Do love some Chelsea and Arsenal fans coming on here and preaching about us being plastic fans etc. Same fans that hounded AVB out of Chelsea and after losing one game will say Wenger has had his time at Arsenal. If you are 3rd in the league by 12 points and 11 games later you are 3 points off fourth, you would not be questioning what on earth is going on. If this had been the start of the season and any of the top teams had 10 points from their first 11 games of a season the manager would have been sacked i'm sure.

but its not the start of the season and surely the way we have perfored for the majority of the season has to have some influence on our thinking?

i dont know personally (as in in my family/freinds/office etc) spurs fan at the moment who isnt fed up with Harry, and that is a mix of ones who go every week, others who have been going 50 years, others that are purely armchair fans....

Let's not start fighting amongst ourselves.

OP - if you're sick of fair-weather fans or whatever why not post a positive article instead of moaning?

It clearly has to have some influence on our thinking and i'm not calling for him to be sacked. I think most of the fans are just sick to death of the same old rhetoric of 'we've played great but we just are lacking some luck'. It quite clearly isn't just down to luck and I believe there is just a frustration with Harry that he doesn't seem to have any idea in how to address the slide. Doing the same subs each game isn't working. (VDV for Defoe, or Sandro for Defoe/Saha). Something's broken and he needs to fix it. Just doesn't seem have any answers to it.

"thank god none of you go to any games is all i can say, us "real fans were superb again yesterday."

And right on FT, they were all saying that Arry and the boys were a credit to Spurs, and how happy they were to be 5th with a handful of games to go, and letting a 10 pt gap slip is no big deal really.

Right ... ??

Bale, i have nothing positive to say about the majority of fans on here, ive had a season ticket for 17 years now and travel with 30-40 hardcore fans and we have never had it better, i have seen some seasons to really moan about in that time!

posted on 22/4/12

of course we wernt happy we lost, but we also realise for the majority of this season we have been top class and now is not the time to be acting like we have some right to be in the top 4, people have short memorys, in 17 seasons this is probaly the best season ive seen

Fair enough, you don't have praise people that you don't agree with. I just don't understand what you hope to gain from coming on here and slagging us off. It's been done before and it only leads to arguments. Are you wumming your own fans?

We've all seen worse, but seeing as you go to every game can you honestly say the performances against Sunderland, Norwich, Chelsea, or QPR were up to scratch?

Of course people have short memories sometimes but that's football - as Pav That rightly pointed out managers have been sacked for much less than our recent run.

Far from being "plastic" I think a lot of people on here were generally hopeful we had higher ambitions for this season. So what if they have high hopes, maybe they'll be disappointed but there's no harm in that. Much better than settling for mediocrity in my book.

Sandro, isn't that a case of our club mentality though. We have had it rough over the years but it does not excuse the fact we have blown up big time in recent months. Something in the club is clearly fragile, whether that be poor decisions from the top or just the mentality to grind out results when not playing that well. We haven't had it great recently but it does not mean we can't ask why a huge blow up has occurred. I hate to say it but it does strike me as a 'small club mentality' if we made a total mess up for 2 months and we all shrugged our shoulders and said this is the best we can do. United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool would not just lie down.

Mate we can be dissapointed but the way some of you have acted on here all season is embarassing, you expect teams to roll over for us, saying we have an easy run in, this time of the season everyone drops points and there is more twists and turns to come,
