CHELSEA have made a fresh swoop for Brazil striker Neymar.
The Blues missed out on the Santos star last summer, having a £19million bid rejected.

But this time the Stamford Bridge side are confident of closing a £23m deal with the Brazilian outfit.

Billionaire Blues owner Roman Abramovich has made capturing the exciting forward a top priority and is now set to speak directly to Neymar, 19, to convince him to come to London.

A Chelsea source said: "Roman is ready to get personally involved to clinch the signing of Neymar.

"He's aiming to talk with him next month to prove how much he is wanted."

Chelsea ’s Brazil defender Alex is wanted by Russian team Zenit St Petersburg.
Zenit’s Italian manager Luciano Spalletti contacted the Stamford Bridge club
personally to ask about the prospects of signing the 28-year-old.

Neymar for only 23m – Sign him up now

Well if we are going to sell Alex than this is the time to sell him as next year he will be worth way less. There is a really good defender available called Scott Dann who I wont mind as a replacement.

Rumours are we will be announceing our manager at 9am on Monday in a press conference.

Who is it likely to be?

I think it will be Pepe, Van Bastan or Harry.

Let cross our fingers and hope we get either Hiddink or Guardiola instead of Harry. If we get Hiddink or Guardiola the plus point will be we will be able to attract big names but if we get someone like Harry will players like Aguero and Neymar be interested to work with him?

Well I think Mourinho is the only manager to completely rule himself out. Hiddink, Guardiola, Harry and Van Bastan are dodging the question.

Hope it's sorted out soon because the quicker it's sorted the quicker we can get the players our manager wants. Hope it’s not like last season when we signed Torres, Ramieres and Luiz in the closing stages in the transfer window.

Our players need time to gel, it would be nice to capture all our targets before our pre season starts.
