Listen up you whinging feckers, I am the ideal leader for the Haven. I am the person that it needs and cries out for. Not only do I have the cursory requirements met, the reading back, the reachability, general traits of a good leader etc etc... but I also love the Haven.

This is one of the places that has helped me grow as a Chelsea supporter, a place that provides me greater insight to the game as well as our team. For me, it truly is a haven, somewhere to come and be able to not only discuss all things Chelsea, but be open to sharing some of who I am as well.

What you might not realize is I am ready and willing to do all in my power, as the new leader, to preserve that. I remember the altercation with the record thread clearly. I remember the environment and feeling that the Haven evokes. I remember what this place was, and what it took for it to attain that.

Not everyone has to get on. That would be unrealistic to expect, but we can avoid constant antagonism and in-fighting. We can also hope to avoid outside intrusions. As for other Chelsea fans, because we support the same club, that doesn't mean we are of the same mind. Despite what you expect or think, this place is important to me and I want to see it thrive.

white wall, please understand that despite this being a public forum, The Haven is a place where a certain few of us choose to be more at ease and less discretionary. It's no reflection on you as a poster or an individual, but it is the general attitude that we are reluctant to have someone new to be a part of that, Chelsea fan or no.

by no means am I saying that you are unwelcome, but I am just trying to convey to you what this thread means, as silly as at that sounds

I understand to an extent why Obers is peeved but I'd only want to see one or two posters banned. I like reading comments by the vast majority of members on here.

Soccer, I respect what this thread means to some of you. I respect you and TBK in particular for the effort you have put into Match Threads etc which is valued and selfless.
What I don't respect is Obers.
I don't respect his unwarranted abusive posts to me.
I dont respect him asking for bans without any justification.
As an obviously very young poster, he could learn a thing or two from posters who have been going to watch the club for over 38 years.
I think Obers should apologise to me.

Oh and TCP, I'm the only one that wanted you back when you were banned so take it from me, you're bit is getting rather stale. If anything, you're the bitter, obsessed, myopic one on here.. the most scouse-like of us all. Give it a rest.
