Americans can any of you explain the logic behind the US backed missile attack of russia by Ukraine?

Are they trying to start ww3 or what? My limited knowledge sees this as lunacy?

The quotes from Russias foreign minister:

"That Atacms was used repeatedly overnight against Bryansk Region is of course a signal that they [the US] want escalation," he said.

"And without the Americans, use of these high-tech missiles, as Putin has said many times, is impossible."

He said Russia would "proceed from the understanding" that the missiles were operated by "American military experts".

"We will be taking this as a renewed face of the western war against Russia and we will react accordingly," he told a press conference at the G20 in Rio de Janeiro.

Honestly Nick I don't understand the weird hypocrisy...........you have started an illegal war, you have used long-range missiles against civilians targets, and now you have a problem when the people you have invaded get the capability, honestly I call this FAFO and Putin has been doing it for years.

Nick mate this is straight up victim blaming good sir. Russia started it.........Russia escalated it, no one else. Russia can go home if they don't want to escalate it. Only they can choose WW3.
