Whats everyone's thoughts on tonight?
I think we will win, narrowly
however I am petrofied of the potenial Brahimi Ivanovic duel

I think we will win but as I always think that it means little.

this season it does,.
I really hope we go out with some purpose on the field
Get the ball to costa early, move the ball quicker, run at the defenders.

Costa's not doing his job. Playing to him would be crap. Like everyone I'm desperate for Remy to have a go.

Normally I think we'll win even during this horrible run.

Though today I reckon we'll lose.

EL not so bad considering it's probably our best shot at CL next year.

However another loss combined with going out of the CL might cost Jose his job.

Considering the reports of one to one coaching with between Jose and Costa he'll surely start.

Not sure how much good it'll do though, his movement was fine last year, so feels more like a lack of desire rather than tactical naivety.

Costa is not making the right movements to receive the ball quickly(more often than not coming short to be involved in build up rather than playing on the shoulder) or If he is making the right movement path usually blocked so have to pass our way through/around blocks.

On his short play with back to goal, leaves a lot to be desired.
Not quick, clever or intricate enough to return ball to players when movement is happening around/beyond him. Slows down the play.

hes not making the right movements im guessing cause the ball never comes, it doesn't come in the box and it doesn't come to him on the deck,

so he starts drifting wide, out of position, becomes frustrated.

I would be if the only opportunity for a ball to come in thebox came from Ivanovic

Waste of space when he insists on going wide rather than central, he is certainly no Hazard or Willian with the ball at his feet, in fact he looks clumsy.

My god i disagree and have disagreements with many on here but Flash is the most annoying poster on here you can never disagree with him and tell him so otherwise he gets all pissy.

I could talk about Hazard and his lack of goals and why this is a thing but i really dont have the energy,

Just watch the game, watch his starting position and where he ends up
id be surprised if Hazard gets more than 1 half decent goal scoring opportunity tonight.

The ball definitely does reach the box and Costa nowhere to be seen.
If he started attacking the six yard box, then scoring wouldn't be a problem.

Instead waits for crosses to reach his feet outside of the six yard box, which is a waste most of the time this season. Fine last season because no one picked up on that but this season, has to vary his movement not stay predictable.
Strikers are supposed to attack box, as a result push opposition defensive line back then one of the attacking trio in much more space for the cut back.
