TCW other big clubs can offer all of that except for the living in London part. So it's essentially a trade off between CL and living in London. And London isn't exactly Madrid/Barcelona.

The slight issue with Jose saying the players are not good enough is that he signed half of them (and gave new contracts to the other half). This is his squad.

he couldn't have foreseen this....
but as I said ages ago the writing was on the wall with the Eva fiasco...& the effectiveness of costa ongoing...although I thought he'd struggle with injuries, which hasn't been the case (i don't think) he's his own worst enemy..(jose)

TCW it would depend a lot on what manager we have. And when a player is deciding between the marginals, a year out of the CL with no guarantees that it won't be longer is pretty big.

Hazard said the deciding factor in choosing Chelsea was that we managed to win the CL (in other words that he would playing in the CL next season).

If this was a one off you could say let's back the manager and replace the squad.

But this happens with Jose I don't think we can replace the squad every three years.
