Doing some banking today and I've come to the conclusion that the number zero and the letter O are far too similar to be acceptable. Especially when both are mixed in a single line like an IBAN number. One of them needs to have a line going through it otherwise they're very difficult to differentiate. Anyone with me on this huge injustice?

yeh it is a pain in the ass, i make underwriters put a dash through the 0 to confirm it's a 0 when signing a slip as an example
