Sarri on Derby struggles: "As you saw in the last match against Derby, Derby played a very good match. I think we played well in the offensive phase. Lots of mistakes in the defensive phase. We have to improve."
Sarri on Barkley: "In the first week[as manager], I saw some matches of Chelsea and some matches of Everton because I wanted to see him on the pitch. He has great technical quality, great physical quality and he is improving after his injury. He has improved tactically"
Sarri on Loftus-Cheek: "He has improved but I think he needs to improve more from a tactical point of view. All the rest is good. Physically he is great. Fast, solid and has impact. Technically very good. If he wants to play as a MF, he needs to improve defensively"
Sarri on captaincy for Hazard or Luiz: "Cahill was captain last season. I spoke with his team-mates and everybody told me he was a really good captain."
Anticlimactic
Sarri on whether Loftus-Cheek will stay or go on loan: "Ruben in October played four out of five matches. At the moment, the situation is not for a loan"
Someone high up probably disagreed with Sarri''s real choice.
I don't buy that Cahill was the choice all along, long delay doesn't make sense only to confirm Cahill as captain.
Or told to wait until Cahill leaves.

Out for 5-6 weeks.
He’ll be back on a week using Pep’s special sted mix
I think we’ll need Hazard to start Sunday’s game. CP always tough to beat.
Nah
We will roll over them

Also just put him in my FF side

Only if he's 100% fit (bench if 90%).
We have already witnessed the detrimental effect of playing Hazard through injury once before.
We need him, but I agree if he is not 100% fit then just have him on the bench.

Probablywanted him out sooner but then saw how crap AC has been. Yeah maybe they are giving cahill a swan song. Was poor the other night, I feel for him, cos he was always gonna be rusty and derby are great at attacking, but was still poor.

For all the talk of how reliant we are on him we've actually coped well without him under both Conte and Sarri.
It was under Jose we could barely breath without him, which probably goes a long way to explaining why he overplayed Eden to the point of both injury and exhaustion.

Since September Cahill and Christensen have been playing once a week just like Luiz and Rudiger have been, they should be in some sort of rhythm by now.

Tbf under Sarri two teams we should be beating without him. I’m still pretty sceptical, in terms of how much we rely on him. I think a lot of games this season had (happened under Conte/Mourinho as well) just knock it about until Hazard does something. Creates a chance, score a goal, make an opening of some sort.

We were two up against Arsenal and were causing them all sorts of problems without him, okay they got it back to 2-2 but that wasn't down to no Hazard.
Im not saying it's just as good without him because it's obviously not, but Sarri and Conte have/had a system to help minimize his loss whenever it's occured.
In the games that he came on as sub in early on in the season he was decisive in getting the result.
We are massively dependent on Hazard
