Sarri hasn't got a plan B, looks like a stubborn manager. Same predictable lineup and football

Does Pep have one?

We move the ball nicely and in behind the defence but then it gets to Willian or Alonso and they cut back and ruin it

Nick giving his favourite players top ratings as usual.

Sarri should be given a summer with better players, at least. I’m not even a fan of his style of play aesthetically or his rotation policy so far but I also think his Napoli record speaks for himself. Even if he doesn’t rotate we should he splashing out in summer anyway and get him actual good players that he can play till exhaustion. If he can get us to Napoli form this could be worth it. He also is probably about where the squad should be, maybe even a bit higher.

Ashley Cole agrees £15,000-a-week deal to join Derby on six-month deal as 38-year-old reunites with Frank Lampard on return to English football

I'd rather have 38 year old Ash than Alonso

*where the squad should be in the league

And I don’t think Higuain will solve much but let’s see.

Have to agree with that Nick. We need someone on the wings willing to run at a defence and who can dribble without needing 5 minutes to look at the ball first

Troubling times ahead. About to lose Hazard and CHO, leaving us with 2 past it wingers and an unproven American bought largely with marketing in mind.

£110m worth of strikers who will likely leave soon for a fraction of that amount.

Attack needs a complete overhaul in the summer, if we can even afford it.

Sarri's Napoli were so incisive.

Earlier on in the season it felt like you could see shades of it in our matches.

In that regard we've gone backwards, so ponderous in the final 3rd. Don't get it at all.

Wonder how many oddball voyeurs we get reading the Haven every day? Probably quite a few.

Kante could have spat on a Chelsea pensioner, punched Hazard and Nick would have rated him a 7+

90+ points and 85+ points two seasons in a row is very impressive, second only to a ridiculously good Juve side.

There’s too much wrong at the club that I don’t know where to start from.

This is the surprising part. Looked like we were building towards something promising. I was hearing how we were still adapting, so things would likely improve over time.

Not sure what exactly the turning point was - I'm thinking it was that 2-2 against Utd. But somewhere along the line, other times figured us out and performance levels have dropped significantly.

The Man City game has been the only good one since that I can remember.

We're not which is why the club needs an overhaul in how it operates and in who is responsible for player recruitment. Until that gets sorted we're just going to continue going round in circles and getting through managers every few months.

City have been the only side to play a proper high line against us in the PL. Every other team sits deep when we have the ball and we're just not fluid enough in the final third to break them down. This isn't just down to a lack of striker but there's something fundamentally wrong with the way we attack.

We've gone backwards. Been playing without a striker for too long now. This is probably key to the puzzle.

Look at what lacaztte did. Something out of nothing. Turned the game in Arsenals favour.

We have no striker like this.

I actually like our one touch quick passing, this has definitely improved, improved to the degree that nothing else seems to matter, including getting the ball in the net. I am hoping Sarri plans on progressing our play and training to the next level with maybe a few new players but at the moment, with no changes and the same domination with no end product is frustrating.
