Thierry Henry caught on camera again tonight, this time directing language at Strasbourg full-back Kenny Lala for apparently being slow to give the ball back: “We are in the 43rd minute... you grand-son of a b**ch!”
Wound up
I actually don't have faith in the pass pass pass football, I am not a fan. But now the club have chosen this route I want them to give it a chance and that for me means 2 full seasons for Sarri and good money to spend this summer

This is not what it’s supposed to look like. It’s supposed to be high velocity football, high pressing and quick incisive vertical passes but these players don’t seem to have either the intelligence or quality for it.
The difference between the football Napoli played and what we’re playing currently is massive.

Ashley Cole agrees £15,000-a-week deal to join Derby on six-month deal as 38-year-old reunites with Frank Lampard on return to English football
I'd rather have 38 year old Ash than Alonso
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is his napoli record though? They won fack all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you wouldn't want Poch as Chelsea manager then?
At least you’re fair Biggish despite not fully believing in his brand of football.
Hoping the board have learned from previous mistakes and are fully committed to him. Otherwise why bring in a manager like this with such a specific brand of football and not give him enough time to implement it. Similarly, if they’re going to continue signing players seemingly randomly with no cohesive vision that’s even more counterproductive and stupid considering the manager they hired.
Should have only brought him in if they’re going to commit to him and give him the players he needs. Hopefully Higuain and Pulisic are the start of that.
Mad how it’s the non going fans on here who feel the need to judge people, who do go and pay, on their reactions and unhappiness in situations. Sarri selections have been nonsensical, nothing wrong with stating that. If someone in your own office kept making the wrong decision and putting your company on jeapardy you surely wouldn’t allow it to keep happening.
Look how much preparation City did in the years preceding Guardiola’s arrival and the benefits they’re reaping from it.
You can’t half ass such a dramatic shift in philosophy and expect to compete with the likes of City and Liverpool who have backed their managers to the hilt.
City were known as defensive under sarri. Not much prep at all. Pep changed most of it.
I don’t mind Sarris philosophy tbh, but him playing footballers who are not good enough is an issue. And then not trusting players who have shown they are good enough. Strange. Willian must have some pics of him or something over him
Nick he replaced Pellegrini though who wasn’t a defensive manager. He had a lot less work to do than Sarri I’d say in terms of playing style.

Not disagreeing mate, but he got rid of the deadweight and/or improved the squad players (Delph). Sarris inability to see Willian, alonso, azpi as an attacking full back, hazard as a cf are hurting us. We should be in 3rd right now imo. But we are opening the door for Utd all for a managers stubborness. I will keep backing him, and jorgino, and what he is trying to do but we need to play Cho, and a cf even if it is giroud.
Nick, you really need to drop the 'non going fans' mantra. Its a ridiculous premise for any football argument.

Nick at least give him a full summer window before writing off the chance of him binning Alonso/Willian then surely?

I think the frustration here is he has good options in reserve he ignores for Willy and Alonso. I’m basically like Biggish though, give him a summer. If he doesn’t rate the alternatives to Willy and Alonso enough then just get better players who he can play every game with no rotation.
