DOF first please though, our haphazard recruitment has caused us enough problems already.

I'm oddly looking forward to the Spurs match. I know our form is terrible and spirits are low but after Sarri's post-match comments there has to be a reaction. From Sarri, I'm desperately hoping that he drops some of our worst performing players and/or tries a formation change. From the players I hope there's a bit more urgency in the final third.
Of course it's very likely things go in the opposite direction and we're treated to what might be the start of a season collapse. In that case I'll be curious to see what the club does next. My biggest worry is that any big changes won't be done with a long-term footballing vision in mind. It'll be reactive and scattergun just as we've done for the past decade. Though this time it'll be harder to claw our way back to the top.

If even part of your reasoning for anything is to use Moses then you need to rethink your reasoning.

Unless something drastic changes (either Higuain being amazing or Sarri changing the formation), I think Sarri will be gone at the end of the season.
Too many of the players will be thinking Sarri should f--- off after what he said last night. Especially as a lot of our best players have played for great managers and so if Sarri isn't actually as good as Jose at his best or Conte (or Guardiola, Zidane, Allegri etc etc) then they're obviously going to know and not respond as well to him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The flaw in your argument as I see it Gazza, is that it's the very same players that couldn't motivate themselves under our previous two managers.
Sarri seems up to now to be fairly mild mannered, it's time the players were made accountable rather than replace yet another manager!

If he has a problem with the attitude of Willian and Alonso, nobody is forcing him to play them every single game.

The GK, CBs and Azpi aren't the unmotivated players.
Kante isn't the problem. Jorginho is his baby, so that's on Sarri. Hazard meanwhile is simply being asked to do too much.
Who do you think he's talking about? There's only a limited number of players that are being picked for every match.

Exactly. There's about 12/13 players to pick from. If he's talking about a long-standing attitude problem, players like Kovacic, Kepa and Jorginho can be excluded. Kante and Azpi always give it their all. Rudiger usually as well. The only players left are Hazard, Pedro, Willian, Luiz and Alonso. I know who'd be my choice out of those...
