Fair enough I'm not obsessed with goal stats either but there's something off with what he's saying. Maybe he wasn't really thinking through what he was saying there. Footballers aren't always the sharpest tools.

Hazard basically admitting he's not one of the truly elite players in world football then. I agree it's time to move on from Hazard and build a team not so horribly reliant on one player.

He's been brilliant at times and was integral in both our title winning seasons in recent years. But it does feel like it's time for a change for all concerned. He needs to grow and we need to rebuild a much more even team in his absence.

Yeah fack him winning us the Fa cup...and winning us two league titles, and scoring a huge % of his goals against the top 6. And having more motm performances then any player since he game. Small game player...

Weirdly, I actually think it was pretty good introspection for a footballer.

I actually like characters in football. Too many players say very little and come across very vanilla.
