Sorry

Leaving Luiz out of the Napoli game would be a mistake, and we've signed some 15 year old CB.

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas insists he retains the full backing of Roman Abramovich.

Villas-Boas admitted it’s good that the billionaire is in such close contact with the team and not detached from the everyday running of the team.

“[Roman Abramovich] watching training had a good impact,” he said: “We spoke about the preparation for the game [against Manchester United]. Roman is always very interested about the running of events and it was good for the team to feel his presence.

“We touched a little bit, of course, on next year’s project but mainly on the [Manchester United] game the day after.

“Roman is a very dedicated person to the cause of Chelsea football club, his aura is always present.”

Next years project has been mentioned a few times now.

Next year's project

This year

Gazza that's the surprise. Shaqiri is a great talent. I would have expected many clubs to be after him

The good thing is that we have expiring contracts of players who are bad play men on high wages

There will be better and younger players available for lower wages IMO
Even if not lower wages, better players is enough

No reason to renew contracts of players the club should want to offload

Gazza - Very lol. Seems likely it will though. AVB has mentioned a few times now about "next seasons project". If Willian is signing and going from today it looks as though there is still interest in Krasic (that might be why we didn't make a move for him now if the club think he's more available in the summer) it looks as though we are already lineing up a few targets.

Imo we'll probably see 6-7 out and 4-5 in. Probably have Lukaku and McEachran playing bigger roles. Maybe De Bruyne. Although he's expecting to go out on loan,if he'son our pre-season tour and does well i think he'll get a chance up until the January window to see how he does in the first team.

Gazza it seems to be unreasonable to believe that nothing of note would happen in the summer.

If we loan out De Bruyne next season it will make no sense to not buy someone good

Actually, 2

Either 2 wingers or a winger + creative midfielder

The good thing is we don't need to do (as such) a huge amount of rebuilding.

The squad will still have

Luiz
Cahill
Ramires
Mata
Torres
Sturridge
Romeu

Then obviously we have Cech,Essien,Terry etc.

Players i can see leaving (or willing to stay if they accept a squad role/lower wages)

Mikel
Bosingwa
Drogba
Kalou
Malouda
Lampard(?)

(I think Lampard might go. He'll recieve offers, whether or not he wants to go is another thing)

I can still see Ferreira and Hilario at the club.

As for the In's there will be a ton of names mentioned.

Willian is probably a certain. I can imagine that Krasic could be as well.

To add to that post.

When i said we don't need a huge amount of rebuilding, i ment that we have Lukaku/McEachran/Piazon (possibly De Bruyne) all in the picture (hopefully)

Plus we might see Kalas back at the club since he's doing well. Davilla might also get a chance but i can imagine he'll have to prove that in our reserves first.

We'll have a good amount of squad depth which is something i think weve lacked this season.
