Brummie, I don't see that as much of a problem to be honest. Being out of champions league for one season doesn't mean we're done as a club. We can approach players with a plan and let them know they are part of that plan to not only get back to the competition but to win it.

Of course they would. We have a new young manager who is slowly bringing in the players he wants and they've been our most successful players to boot. The old guard will be on their way out. They can't honestly believe we'll keep them around for another season or that they would be starting over anybody.
I would get rid of half the squad tbh.
I wish Terry wasn't captain, it'll probably mean he'll keep playing next season

Terry has been one of the most consistent but if we go to high line defense like AVB wants then Terry wont be useful. He's much too slow. Age isn't on his side either. Time to usher in the next generation. Doesn't mean dump him straight away but he will have to take a lesser role.
