They are probably already appealing that to CAS
So how come PSG have not been banned?
Yeah pretty certain they’ll appeal, hopefully they’ll end up serving the first season regardless due to timing, like we did with the transfer ban.

I think once the appeal is lodged then they'll be able to participate.
I wonder what would happen if they won it this year but don't appeal.
If they appeal now and CAS make a decision to uphold the ban before the new season they would be fecked. If they wait to appeal to force CAS’ hand into a delay then CAS may decide to let the ban stand while they come to their decision.
We appealed our ban and yet we still served a portion of it before any decision came back. Hopefully the same happens to City.

Pep might leave

I thought he'd leave this summer anyway but if this ban is in place next season I definitely see him going. Juve a possible destination.

So we'll only have 3 teams in the CL next season then if City finish top four ?

True, but we had the chance to suspend the ban and they will more than likely do that. If they do that and are then found guilty chances are CAS will either increase it or will stick to it.
Weird I was on the main board the other day talking to that donut Wahl and said Man City will struggle and are coming to the end of their cycle, and I reckon ffp will stop their spending “if they do their job” and looks like they have. Silva ageing, yaya gone, kompany gone, Walker and aguero ageing...gonna be tougher for them for sure

Could be the end of an era for them Nick. Or the beginning of the end of it anyway. Will KDB want to stick around for two years in his absolute prime if there's no CL on offer ?
They won't ever server a ban
More concerned for the integrity of football if City are banned
Ffp is and will always be a tool for uefa to keep the traditional elite at the top the big teams can spend what they like whilst everyone else can't.
It's not a good thing that uefa have done this
Also, given that the only defence City ever seem to put out is about how the evidence was obtained, I don’t see how they can get it overturned

I think its a travesty that Ffp essentially prohibits smaller clubs challenging the elite
It's a travesty that they stop owners spending their own money on their clubs.
When they limit spending to revenue
They freeze the traditional elite in place, frozen in time never to be challenged.
Wolves and Leicester can build a better performing squad over time but are open to be cherry picked and can't adequately replace their players beciase they will be hamstrung by Ffp
Whereas a club like united can be quite frankly embarrassing over the years spending nearly a billion quid to end up with the worst manager and worst side they have had in 30 years but can freely spend another 300m on players. No punishment for gross mis management
It preaches a level playing field but does exactly the opposite.
Blatter Platini were just the tip of the iceberg of the corruption at the top of football
Now if you don't mind, my tin foil hat has gone missing and I need to find it before the aliens start reading my thoughts
While I agree isn’t it in place to stop teams, like Leeds, going bankrupt after failed missions?

That's what they claim yes
And there should be measures to stop that but that's easy
Salary cap and transfer fee cap net spend cap etc etc
