don't really think an age gap bares any significance once past 21 biggish. not really a fan of big age gaps from 18 as most are still young minded even at 18 but age gaps after 21 i don't see any issues

She was. Even without social media you can see the pressure she was under. She was not allowed to speak to her boyfriend. And like most suicides/any mental health disease, the aetiology of it is a) probably multifactorial and b) unless you know the person, and they’ve spoken to you about it, you don’t know what caused it, or what they consider to be the biggest factor. Sometimes they can’t tell you..

What I’m trying to say is..in highly publicised suicides, sometimes people blame just one factor that they believe to have caused it in an echo chamber because it’s something they don’t like. The deaths are tragic but how can we possibly know the single factor that caused it, if it was even just one factor (unlikely).

of course, nobody told her to hit her boyfriend, but then again when the media want to spend every single day of the week accusing and plastering in her face that her boyfriend was seen with someone else or cheating on her or saying the same for her to start arguments and stuff then what do you expect

The media contribute to everything and ultimately their witch hounding of people is a huge and probably the ultimate contributor for it all

Never mind social media, the fact she had a serious allegation against her and is soon due in court, had to move out her house, lost her job, couldn’t contact her partner for any sort of support, these things could be an aetiological factor for a deficit in anyone’s mental state.

She did by assaulting someone you dope

posted on 15/2/20

It could have started the second the police were called to her door for assaulting her partner, which was before any media was involved. She had so many factors going on besides the fact she is a celebrity so has media stories written about her. And we don’t know which factor was more pertinent than the other, if at all, other than those that she spoke to about her mental healthz

Actually he was 17. I think it is unusual for a woman to want to date someone so young who has so little life experience. Sh g I understand, but to date, I don't get it,it isn't a healthy sign

I do agree with Oscar about one thing, people should be a lot more forgiving and understanding of other people's mistakes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
A fine thought, and I don’t disagree. But just to be Devil’s Advocate, you could apply that to anyone who’s committed any serious crime.

I dont know if it's an English thing, but we have an incredibly judgemental culture in this country.

Is it that crazy? Maybe 17 is unusual, but quite a lot of women feel a kind of maternal instinct and are consequently attracted to men a lot younger than them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think for it to be a trend is very unusual.

And so..perhaps important to recognise it is hard/against human nature to immediately forgive and see someone else’s mistake from an empathetic point of view. At least immediately. Give time and then it can happen.

I know at least three people in my life with girlfriends who are at least 10 years older than them.

I have only ever had two semi-serious relationships, both were a year younger than me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are they long lasting relationships?
