The expected numbers have us 3rd, whether you by xG or xPTS.

Aside from Lampard getting on the pitch himself to finish chances not sure he can do a lot more.

Today's game was decided by bad officiating and injuries. Can't blame him for that.

Lampard deserves time. He's not the problem. He's made mistakes but he's inexperienced and hasn't had a chance to improve the squad.

I think the best managers would struggle with this current squad

Yeah no manager would be pulling up trees with this squad. We simply don’t have enough threat up front and that leads to nerves defensively.

Klopp’s Liverpool struggled defensively for nearly 3 years.

Bats was good coming on as a sub in the early part of the season and Giroud has been pretty awful every time he's been used as well. As someone else said earlier on for me they're both varieties of not good enough.

Is Frank the perfect manager? Of course not, he's only in his 2nd season ffs.

But at the same time I see a lot of promise. I still think we're performing better than the vast majority of Chelsea fans would've expected at the beginning of the season.

Not comparable. Pep comfortably got City to third with a marginally better squad and much stronger competition around him.

That squad was way better than ours lol a much younger Aguero, Silva, Kompany and Fernandinho is a spine our team can currently only dream of.
