We were poor on the night, no doubt about that. But even if we'd been on it I think we'd have really struggled to get a point in that game with as much going against us as that.

lol sorry suddenly got busy for the first time this week.
I just didn;t feel I wrote it as well as I could or articulated it as well as I could.
We are definitely, despite having top 10 status in nearly every metric, (fanbase globally, revenue etc) seen as different to pool, utd, barca, madrid....even arsenal.

I genuinely preferred Sarriball to the sludge we have been served since about November.

What would you say we are doing now as opposed to sarriball do you reckon that's significantly different...?

I think we actually try to move the ball quicker and are more direct than we were last season. However, when we lost the ball, we were much better in transition under Sarri and much more solid defending.
Sarriball had its fair share of sludge period
We'll get there I'm sure. We all knew there would teething issues this season and there undoubtedly have been.
Pulisic back in the team is going to make a significant difference I suspect, certainly going forward. Loftus-Cheek as well although nobody seems to know when he'll make the bench.

We really have no squad depth and that is a major problem when blooding young players. It mad emant they have been overplyed at times and we are far too dependent on them for each game
I think we've got squad depth, infact this is the deepest squad we've had. We just have a lot of bloody injuries and average players.
Better players than the rest of the top 4 maybe bar spurs when healthy, but still a lot of averageness.
Henderson out for 3 weeks with a hamstring injury that's Liverpool knackered...
Squad depth is there, we've probably got 2-3 players for each position.
The quality of the squad is another question...

Lampard: "Tammy has trained the last two days. Probably 70%. He is in the squad. Kante is not fit, muscle injury. Similar to Arsenal. Hopefully three weeks. Pulisic not fit, no exact date. A difficult injury. Ruben is in the squad. Not fit to start, but in the squad."
