Squad depth is there, we've probably got 2-3 players for each position.

The quality of the squad is another question...

Depth is quality in y book,,,,,if the back ups are not good enough then i say we lack squad depth..

Every squad has the numbers, its about the quality

Example: we have two left backs but are playing a right back instead

Exactly..

We have a young, promising but developing CF, but no onw to compete with him

We don't have a goal scoring midfield player.

For me, these are all examples of lacking squad depth/diversity

For me it shows lampards treatment of players has devoid all confidence out of certain players, his squad management has been almost as bad as sarri but rather than use old players, has used younger ones.
We all know giroud is not good enough to play for a top 4 team consistently but he is better than to have been totally left out the side or squad
Likewise kepa recently if this carries on.
Likewise emerson at times and even alonso...cant believe i just wrote that.
Pedro has also been left out for long periods.

I wouldnt mind if the team was still performing, but willian, jorgino, tammy, azpi and even mount have been poor the last couple months.

No point having squad depth if you don't change it up.
Obviously now with injuries we do not have much capability to do that...

Frank's quote sounds like he means RLC will be on the bench for spurs.

I really hope we don't rush Ruben back and he gets crocked again. As desperately as we could use him this isn't going to be an anywhere near 100% Loftus-Cheek is it.

I don't think he'll make the squad either.

Worrying about Pulisic, no time frame on return.
Kante missing for 3 weeks.

I'd go for Giroud up front or Tammy for like 50 mins depending on how he feels

True but a 60/70% Loftus Cheek is miles better than anything we have right now. People forget that he was our 3rd best player (behind Hazard and Kante) at the tail-end of last year. He completely changes the dynamic of our midfield in terms of physical presence and attacking thrust.

Pulisic is definitely a worry for me too. It didn't seem like he had a serious injury yet he's be out for nearly 2 months
