So...got a slight niggly cough today...which is unusual for me...nothing terrible, but I went out on my bike yesterday, for a good hour or more...i've either got some slight hay fever type thing or...the other thing
Hard to know...been busy in the garden today...feel ok

thing is, we probably always get little coughs and stuff and then they are so minor (when you drink something and goes down wrong hole, hayfever etc) that you dont even notice then. because of this going on its highlighted

Dunno, don't see him very often
You guys seen the news that PHE planning for release of home tests, for stocking in online retailers and supermarkets, in next few days.
Also Matt Hancock said yesterday that 5500 final year medical students would be joining the NHS frontline next week. Bit surreal seeing a politician outright lie. When he said that in his press release it was the first medical schools or final year medical students knew about it. They’ve been rushing around last 12-24 hours to sort everything out to meet this government demand. In reality final years will be graduate early and can choose whether they’d want to start work early or not. Putting through early graduations could still take 2-3 weeks.

Would of thought it would get weaker as time goes on Meke especially as most of us have likely had it as even uk doctors said it’s definitely been around since as early as January so realistically I’d say since Nov/Dec.
There’s still something they’re not telling us about this I feel, yes it has a higher mortality rate than flu and colds but for a whole world to go on lockdown for something that is apparently a bit more worse than flu’s and colds but nowhere near on the level of SARS/Ebola is just nuts. We didn’t even go on lockdown for swine flu, granted that didn’t kill anywhere near as many but it still had a huge contagious rate and they didn’t know it was not that serious or deadly to begin with like they do with this. Even China’s end figures wouldn’t appear it’s that bad or easily spread and they don’t warn you to social distance etc in flu season.
There’s something odd about the whole situation
It’s obviously not by the way of transmission extremity and easily but feels chemically ish if that makes sense
Probably been drinking it out the tap for 4 months did feel like the water tasted different
Fingers crossed it’s an over reaction or the right reaction regardless

American chaps on here, Sister in law is in Australia and trying to get her home before this all escalates. Looking at flights, one route is through LAX. Is it open and allowing arrivals from AUS?
Ta for your help.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think flights from Australia have stopped. The US is allowing citizens to come home. Should check with her airline about specific flights.
Here's the State Dept website:

Sorry, don't think all* flights have stopped. There will be some that are cancelled, again should check with airline.

If the virus is mutating or getting worse then the government decision to no longer consider covid 19 a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) as of March 19th is an extremely strange one indeed:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcid
Do they mean high consequence to the collective or individual
