300 bills
700-800 average rent?

Well, you spend way too much on food in that case.
I less than that per month and save £200 a month on average towards my savings account.

You are smashing that just eat app... aren't you
I make about 42k a year after tax at mo
Break down of that is -
75-80 hours a week Monday-Sunday
Monday-Sunday x 3 then I get one weekend a month off.
On call rota/emergency call outs.
My rent and monthly bills BEFORE shopping is 1700 a month. Shopping varies.
So even on my wages I'm left with very little a month
My food costs a month are probably about £80 Lol works food costs for me though are about £800 lol

I blame governments. They disincentivise saving money. However, the reality is far too many people spend beyond their means, and if people were more fiscally prudent we wouldn't need such hefty relief packages.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair point but i've said this before, this is the kind of $hit they should be teaching in schools
Budgeting
Financial Planning
Future Planning
They don't teach none of that $hit
