to be fair i could do with reigning in some dumb spending i guess, i calculated i spend about £1,000 a year on bottled water, then you've got £2400 on cigarettes, probably about 5k a year on gambling, that's £8,400 just on them 3 things which are pretty easily eradicated

lockdown has literally done nothing for italy, cases spiked yet again today after 5 days of looking like they would flatline
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah by now most predicted it would slow down in Italy. Still, it is possible cases are slowing down in Northern regions while the rest of Italy ‘catches up’ and has a rise in cases.
I wonder how feasible it would be for countries to target aggressively increasing healthcare capacity as the primary way to deal with this, and not via aggressive public health measures. China I guess did both. Even we’re doing both with the Nightingale Hospital

So the two things I’ve learned from the past few pages are that:
Oscar spends a crazy amount to not have so little savings for that high a salary, especially for someone who (I think) lives at home, so rent/bills are free.
Steve works a stupid amount of hours. Feels like there should be some kind of union or something there. That’s probably worse than JNR’s investment banking lifestyle.

If I pull 102 hours in a week I take home just over £1000 a week after tax, but you're rarely in the house that week.
That's starting work at 7am, finishing at 2am the next morning, then back in at 7, for 7 days a week.

We will all likely be connected in some way to someone who is lost to this virus. It's such a nightmare.
Apparently was over a week ago. Didn't realize while I was shopping there. Saw flowers out front when I passed by today
