He's better than AC, Rudiger and Zouma on the ball. Helps he's left footed so would naturally fit in at LCB.
He's better than AC. I don't really rate our CBs right now but maybe a better GK behind them could help. Zouma is probably the best one atm but it changes every game because they're not consistent.
When I watched Bournemouth they're just terrible as a team defensively, wouldn't just put it down to Ake. However, he looks well above that level and has made important blocks/tackles for them, also contributed with big goals.
It wouldn't surprise me if he does well at City as I believe he's a good fit for them

I don’t know how easy it will be to sell AC. Barca were interested at one point but probably not anymore.
Otherwise the more I think of it, the more we should have gone for Ake.
At least we’ll have that FA Cup semi final against Spurs and his Europa league contribution in 2013 as something to remember fondly from his Chelsea career.

Not saying you weren't mate. I'm just talking about the overall reaction on here towards signing him. Most were against it or very much on the fence at least. Can't even remember anyone bringing up Ake as a possibility in recent months.
His name has only come up again it seems since City signed him.

What i don't get Superb is the lockdown etc was originally just to " make sure the NHS is overwhelmed " and now the NHS has been fackin empty for about 3 months we should of gone back to how we were but no we're getting even more rules + regulations over a fackin cold for 99% of people
