But, if you can't get them integrated into the team and playing their best football by GW 6, I'll get a new manager in who had no say in your vision for this squad and in these summer transfers.

Thats what I'm saying and what I've always said. I dont need us to be at our best but I need to see weaknesses addressed and improvements all around. Otherwise whats the point.

Just because I've said it earlier than most doesnt mean I'm any more harsh than other critics. While Frank did well to get us 4th last season we all know it was the collapse of other clubs that made it possible. I dont feel he even got the best out of that group of players. He needs to prove himself to me and lots of others.

This has been said a lot but I think we should accept that other then Pool and City the rest of the top teams lack consistency. I mean even under Sarri you could say we fluked top 4 because the teams around us bottled it towards the end.

Our best player so far this season is, in my opinion, Thiago Silva, as we look so much worse when he is not playing.

Reece has looked a different player since playing for England...looks to have really stepped up, great to see along with Chilwell on the other side

I now really want to see our expensive new stars turn up in the champions league this week

Our next batch of games are all very winnable too...but football being football and the premiership being what it is at the moment - who knows.

I'm hoping Frank sticks to playing 3 at the back myself, maybe integrating Tomori in there too

Don't mind if we go 343 or even 352 possibly trying Giroud or Tammy with Werner in a pairing in the CL

Problem is I don’t think Werner, Havertz and Ziyech are very similar to Tammy/Giroud, Mount and Willian.

So that’s why he’s felt a need to change the system. Maybe he should still have tried to fit them into his older vision but I don’t think that was ever the plan when the signings were made.

Which again makes you wonder the thought process that went into the signings. In terms of simply buying players who are clearly very talented but not putting too much regard into how the overall structure of the team/squad would be affected.

It seems the plan was to have a fluid front 4, which is still worth trying as we’ve not properly given it a go yet.

But I don’t know if there was enough regard in that plan for how the CMs and defence would cope. Time will tell.
