He hasn't done well with the strikers this season imo

Sarri would've liked James. He'd have used him more in build up than Frank does/not exposed him to the turnover. Well suited to that half way role Hysaj had at Napoli.

A part of me still misses Mourinho, wishes 15/16 just didn't happen & he was still our manager today.

Even if we became a top 4 staple with the odd trophy here & there I'd have been happy with him. He was a b@stard, but he was our b@stard

Didn't really care when Lampard was announced as manager as I was peed off Sarri was getting the boot.

Same. Just wasn't meant to be.

Aguero out for another month. Not looking good for City. Can't see them putting up a title challenge.

Leaves the door open for us as long as Arsenals God allows other teams to feel good sometimes.

I agree things were getting better towards the end if Sarri’s time. Had a terrible winter but that’s par for the course.

Me and Randy were. I am still not sure how it would have worked out, but he deserved another year. Thing is though, he would have needed a window and he would have had one.

Its not even the fact that he has done well at Villa so far. We know he is a hit and miss player, but he offers Frank an extra option for 4 3 3. It seems a really dumb move to let him go for that reason

I dunno. Tammy, Mount, James and one of Ampadu/Tomori would be in the squad anyway. So we’d have better options to play his system.

The main differences we’d have seen would be Luiz, Higuain (unfortunately) staying and Zouma and probably CHO leaving.

I was really trying to say that he would still have not had the chance to really show what he could do with a couple of elte signings.

On the flip side, Sarri was not a people person with the players and I still have reservations about his non belief in the inspirational individual player impact
