Zouma would have been considered a much better CB in the 90s and 00s than he is in modern day football.

Such a shame he is so awkward in possession of the football. IHe really slows us down with the ball.

Yeah he's not very good with the ball at his feet. I don't understand why he plays on the left side either, just makes it even more awkward.

Other teams have noticed this and let him have time on the ball to initiate attacks.
Meanwhile if he has the ball in a pressure situation they’ll close him down hard in the hope of winning it off him.
