Cool. My Dad is Italian so I've recently looked into getting an Italian passport as well since Brexit. It's absolutely impossible though. The Italian embassy in London is a joke, there's nobody to talk to and no way that I can see to make an appointment.

Been coming for ages, but still sad to see Tomori go. The one poorly managed young player under Lampard. Still part of me’s like not every single young player can make it here, he’s managed to get a very good move to Milan while we’ve got decent (though could’ve been better..) price for a squad player CB.

Curious to see if he ends up at a PL club for a big transfer fee.

He’s obviously good but I’m not sure if he’s great.

Italy Switzerland should be a decent game later

I think in a back three he could be great, maybe less potential in normal back four, still he seems to have impressed with Milan there

It seemed a strange deal at the time, as he still has lots of potential. But we do have a number of other young centre backs coming through - Guehi, Sarr (is he coming back from Porto?), and the young guy from Barcelona (whose name I’ve forgotten), who was meant to be great but he was injured for much of last season.

Sarr was apparently crap for Porto tbf. Ended up demoted to Porto’s B team and wasn’t even great there from what I’ve read.

But he’s still young.

Xavier Mbuyamba was the guy I was thinking of.

Plus we signed him on a free, so even if we sell him for a small fee it will be a profit. Doesn’t sound like a long term prospect though. Interested to see what Tuchel thinks of Guehi and Mbuyamba in pre-season
