I was doubtful as soon as it became clear it was essentially a bidding war with us and PSG..I think they were always more likely to offer more £££ on transfer fee and contract. Oh well

One good point with Hakimi was that he can cover both sides so can both replace Emerson/Alonso but also be RWB cover if RJ is a CB. It also means Livramento has a better oppurtunity to get playing time. I don’t know if there’s any other top wingbacks out there who can cover both sides

I thought the cl medal he now showers with would make him more desirable to smaller clubs but it doesnt seem so. Now my hatred is stronger than before. Now I may need to perform a ritual to get Boas back to take Alonso for a swim.

Honestly if Tuchel is unconvinced about James at RWB and wants to move him centrally, then I would prefer us to train CHO as a RWB all summer than buy Traore ffs.
