So say an obvious offsides play plays through because you know, stupid rules...and there is a quite bad foul that takes place during that phase that does not count. Would there still be a card issued or would it get ignored because technically everything that happened from the point of offside was null and void?

Or is it just another chance to pick up a card/injury due to stupid roolz?

I think you can still get a card, but the play itself is irrelevant. It’s a crazy rule isn’t it - if there is an obvious offside the linesman should be able to just put his flag up.

Went boring after the first 15

Especially without Embolo - I just can’t see the Swiss finding a way to score. Then again, I thought that about their game with France.

Hoping they get a goal just to get things to pick up.

That said Spain are very impressive in the way they swarm the opponent and win the ball back.

This Morata guy looks pretty good, maybe he could help with our striker issue?

Well I just think that is an awful decision on seeing it one. It looks to me he slowed down as he went in for the tackle and made sure he got his legs on it rather than his feet. But, only seen it once mind.
