United fans not happy today. Guess it’s not a good sign for them that we’re ahead after a far worse set of fixtures

Gilmour didn't start again. I think he will be back at Chelsea in January

Who the fk do Norwich think they are? Should feel privileged to have a player of that ability in their squad

For example RLC was good but also missed two chances to play Timo in by delaying way too long.

Could've easily had a couple more at HT if he plays that quicker.

Kova, too, missed one really early when both Lukaku and Timo were running through.

I also felt, in the 1st half, that CHO and Timo did a lot of the covering for Lukaku, whilst he mostly stayed on one CB.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Our front three looked pretty good in the first half. The most balanced I've seen it look all season.

- Chilwell wasn't amazing today but he kept the width well (unlike Alonso) and cut in when necessary. This allowed CHO to take good starting positions and use the "out to in" run to good effect
- Werner was happy both out wide as well as occupying that space between the CB and LB. Also ran in behind well - kept Soton defenders guessing. Deserved his goal
- Lukaku was a bit of a disappointment today - held the ball up decently on occasion but needed better movement and really should've scored his tap-in

All in all, a promising outing for the attackers. Both Havertz and Ziyech should be worried as I haven't been impressed with them so far this season (and it appears neither has Tuchel...)

I havent been impressed with Ziyech since he arrived. I dont see where he fits in for us.

I don’t really rate Barkley but I really like Tuchel bringing players like him into the team. Sends the right message out to the squad that you can get a spot in the team if you work hard, can only be a good thing.

All we need now is to see that if Lukaku has a really poor spell he will be out of the team.

Its nice that we now have a significant amount of European trophies to lay claim to being bigger than say Everton who have more titles still

Our 2nd allowed goal today is the kind of goal I have been crying out for us to score. We so rarely play quick first time passes and crosses I to the box.

I want to see more of that type of football from us.

Yep loved the urgency today, we didn't do the normal "reset"

Some lovely first time balls, and some slick movement today

I want us to be scoring the Lukaku Arsenal goal more, there are plenty of teams that dont protect that area enough other than just them

5:30 kick off between two half decent mid table level sides. Nice to see everyone get a chance to watch their team

Hey Steve sounds about right. He'd be prolific if his disallowed goals were actual ones.
