So lemme say this…Cho was bad today. He will get a get out of jail free card because the villa defender had a brain fart, he made one good cross and then a basic over the top ball that Lukaku sucked all the ability out of his body to turn into something positive. The rest of his performance was awful and it shouldn’t be forgotten.
We won
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Played a part in all of our goals. Better than most of the others bar Lukaku.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah. What I said but he was not good by any stretch. The cross was his best moment. The rest was so underwhelming or just bad. I knew it would get shine over because he did play a part in the goals. Doesn’t wipe away the rest for me.
That’s like when people say Alonso’s been alright because he scored at the end

On track for 82 points and that’s even with this garbage covid/injury hit patch we’ve had
---------------------------------------------------
Will definitely get 80 this year. Finish 3rd comfortably.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
3rd is my expectation unless our attackers get their shooting boots on. If that happens I reckon we can challenge Liverpool for 2nd (the title is city's to lose).

Just don't want to be in a top 4 battle and to close the gap on the top 2.
We're not consistent enough over 38 games to win the league yet

For me it's just that we are probably two players short compared to Pep's City.

I try not to be swayed by goals and assists. Pogba is a prime example of someone I see consistently give the ball away, not track back, play poorly but score a worldy and utd fans will say how good hes been for example.
Goals change games but you have to weigh them up against if someone else was playing. You may still get that goal and even more for the 90 minutes,

By the end we'll be closer to City/Pool than Arsenal/Spurs, think we'll finish 3rd on a bit of an island though.
Lukaku with the impact sub performance
Nice
I would like us to stick CHO out on the right for a few games. He has a bad habit of stopping and moving it onto his right. Would like to see him run at the byline and just try to hit the crosses in first time
I think we can finish ahead of Liverpool if our squad gets back together but I think I underestimated City - they are on a run again
I was always worried about our "consistency" considering our goals were mainly coming from set-pieces and our WBs (w/ a significant drop-off for their replacements). We need our attackers to do their job if we want to be genuinely consistent (i.e. over the course of a season). Relying on our defence for goals is never going to be sustainable.
