Barcelona and Chelsea have reportedly gotten in touch with the agents of Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara over a summer transfer.

According to a report from Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna, Barcelona and Chelsea have made contact with the representatives of Boubacar Kamara to explore the possibility of a summer transfer, with his contract with Marseille set to expire in the summer.

Kamara is a product of the Marseille youth academy and made his first-team breakthrough in 2017, aged 17 years and 11 months. Having burst onto the scenes as a centre-back, the French starlet has modified himself into a defensive midfielder and become a mainstay in the starting XI for the Ligue 1 outfit, racking up 143 appearances, so far.

Napoli sign Manchester Us star center back Axel Tuanzebe

I don’t see Lyon agreeing to let Emerson return early, he’s apparently been one of their better players and they have a buy option. Seems like wasted time and effort trying to get him back now

Should go for Digne but Everton want a permanent sale and we just want a temp cover

Dujon Sterling and Maatsen is the cheap option but seems unfair on their development.

Lukaku wants some goals.

That's a pretty meaty starting 11 for us

Get the job done early and then bring on the kids.

Surprised Kovacic starts rather than giving RLC or Ross a game. If they can’t play against Chesterfield then why are they in the squad.

I’m guessing Hall is either CB or LWB, playing instead of Vale

Bettenelli
Hudson, Sarr, Christensen, Hall

If Hall is a CB then it might be CHO and Ziyech as wingbacks. Or Pulisic there rather than CHO

How good is bettinelli I've never seen him myself

Yep, agree that's more likely.

I guess the logic is we shouldn’t need defensive fullbacks against this side if we’ll be attacking

Well we are playing Chesterfield

Don't like us putting out such a strong team but whatever. As long as we get the result.

Just feel sorry for youth players. Matches like these are quite literally the best chance they have for impressing. Can't think of an easier opponent for us to face at home and give our youth minutes yet we still stick to our big guns (despite our packed schedule). Any injuries for 1st teamers we get today are placed squarely on Tuchel. This level of risk is completely unnecessary.
