Better to extend and loan imo. Unlikely to fetch a large fee right now, unless Leicester want him as part of the Fofana deal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would he sign a new deal ?
Can’t we give Leicester like Loftus cheek and barkley
Need to get this deadwood out
Brighton should buy Batshuayi they need a striker
I’m heading Maatsen MOTM for Burnley yday
I don't want Auba but at the same time I don't feel comfortable going into the season with Havertz as our main striker.
Inspires zero confidence in front of goal and looks like he doesn't want to be here in 50% of matches. I wouldn't be surprised if Broja takes his starting spot by the end of the season.
But in any case, if Havertz doesn't produce this year, we should genuinely get rid. 3 years is more than enough time for a player to prove their worth. No excuses

Doesn't matter to us anymore - we've now got two £50m+ LBs. When Maatsen comes back next season, he's 100% getting sold

Yeah difficult to disagree with this re Havertz. At the same time you have to question Tuchel's insistence in playing him as a No9. Think you're going to get more from his as a 10 or a support striker. Problem with that is obviously our system to accommodate that.
#Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi is in talks with Borussia Dortmund over a loan deal but will talk to all interested parties before making a decision on his next move.
[via @skysports_sheth]
There is a feeling that Leicester City will sell Wesley Fofana if the bidding reached £80M-plus amid #Chelsea interest.
[via @Matt_Law_DT]
That would be so stupid
Fofana is garbage, Chalobah is much better
Don't know what position Havertz is tbh
Too slow to play out wide, not a no 9, not creative enough to play a no 10 role
He's like a crap version of Firmino
Thank fk Oscar isn’t in charge of our transfers

I think he is like a Bergkamp/Gudjohnsen - you play him off a central striker.
#Chelsea are in talks with RB Leipzig over an option to buy at the end of a possible season-long loan for Timo Werner but it is not known whether the move will be permanent or a loan.

Only one game in this season - albeit a poor one - so will reserve judgement.
Annoyance is he showed for 2-3 months last season he could be a very good player, and he started the season and Euros decently too.
Timo Werner has fallen out with #Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, arguing in private about how Werner was being used and whether he deserved to start more matches.

Theoretically Havertz and Mount behind a striker should be a good combination. Problem was Lukaku.
